The Portfolio
From the brooding rescue to the pampered doodle, we match your dog's energy to the right aesthetic.
Style 01
Bold lines, classic motifs. Anchors, roses, daggers. For the dog who grew up on the docks. Especially flattering on Labs and Boxers.
Style 02
Delicate single-needle work. Peonies, fine scripts, botanical detail. Reserved for the refined palate. Pomeranians and Cavaliers only.
Style 03
Vivid color, illustrative depth. Bold compositions for the dog with something to say. Popular with Huskies and German Shepherds.
Style 04
Stark. Architectural. Uncompromising. For the rescue with a past and a present that doesn't apologize for either. Pitties welcome.
Style 05
Koi, waves, chrysanthemums. A full back piece is a 12-session commitment. Your Shiba already has the energy for it.
Style 06
Painterly. Soft-edged. A little chaotic โ just like your dog. Ages unpredictably, which, again, just like your dog.
How It Works
We handle everything. You show up with your dog. We handle the rest.
A one-hour session where we assess your dog's temperament, coat texture, skin tone, and lifestyle. We ask the hard questions: is your dog a statement piece or a slow reveal? Couch dog or trail dog? We need to know.
We connect your dog with one of our 40+ vetted artists worldwide. Every artist in our network has been briefed on canine anatomy, fur growth patterns, and the ethics of working with a client who cannot sign the waiver themselves.
Your artist presents three custom concepts. You choose. We modify until it's perfect. Your dog will be consulted via an intuitive body language assessment developed by our in-house canine behavioral consultant, Dr. Bark.
We'll be honest with you: this part is logistically complicated. But our artists are professionals. They've handled worse. Snacks are provided. For the dog, obviously.
We provide a full aftercare protocol. Your dog will need to avoid licking the area, which, as you know, is an ongoing negotiation. Touch-ups at 8 weeks are complimentary. Additional touch-ups are not, because your dog kept licking it.
Client Stories
"We went with a full Japanese sleeve on his left flank. The koi piece took four sessions. He slept through all of them. The artist cried. We all cried. It was transformative."
Dog: Biscuit, 4-year-old Golden Retriever
"She came in with no ink and left with a fine-line peony behind her left ear. The other dogs at the park looked at her differently. She knew. We all knew."
Dog: Princess Nugget, 2-year-old Pomeranian
"I was skeptical. My vet was skeptical. My wife was skeptical. But you should see him now. Full chest piece. Eagle and roses. He sits differently. He carries himself differently. He has earned it."
Dog: Frank, 6-year-old Pit Bull
Frequently Asked Questions
Is this legal?
This is an excellent question and we appreciate you asking it directly. We operate in jurisdictions where the answer is, at minimum, ambiguous. Our legal team is composed entirely of very confident people.
Does it hurt the dog?
We use a proprietary comfort protocol developed over years of careful research. We cannot share the details of this protocol. The dog is fine. Frank is fine. Please stop asking about Frank.
My dog is very small. Can you still work with them?
Canvas size is a real constraint. For dogs under 10 lbs, we recommend a minimalist approach: a single fine-line piece, something tasteful. A tiny skull. A very small dagger. Microdots. We make it work.
What about fur? Won't it cover the tattoo?
Yes. This is part of the mystique. Your dog knows it's there. You know it's there. The artist knows it's there. That's enough.
My vet said this is a bad idea.
That's not a question. But noted. Many of history's most important ideas were initially described as bad ideas by veterinarians.
How much does this cost?
Our packages begin at $1,200 for a simple single-needle piece and scale to $18,000+ for full canine body suit commissions. If you're asking about price, you may not be our client. But we're flattered you're here.
Spots are extremely limited. Our artists have standards. So does your dog.
